VARIOUS ROADS, NORTH TYNESIDE

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The effect of the Orders will be to prohibit all through traffic on the following as and when signage indicates on:

Tynemouth

At the rear of No 69 Front Street, Tynemouth. No alternative route will be available.

The temporary Order is required to enable the installation of a new BT Box and will come into force on 5 January 2018 for a period not exceeding 5 days.

Earsdon

Garden Terrace, at the rear of No 27 Front Street, Earsdon. Residents have access to the rear of Garden Terrace and John Street via Church View and the side of No 44 Garden Terrace.

The temporary Order is required to undertake sewer works and will come into force on
8 January 2018 for a period not exceeding 2 weeks

West Allotment

Bayfield, West Allotment with alternative route via;

• Heading from B1322 to Bayfield: turn right at the closure point, head in a southerly direction following Bayfield for 160m.

• Heading from Bayfield to B1322: turn left at the closure point, head in a south westerly direction following Bayfield for 160m.

The temporary Order is required to enable ground stabilization following mining subsidence and the Order will come into force on 9 January 2018 for a period of one year.
