Off Street Parking Places Variation Order 2017 - Waves Car Park, Whitley Bay

The Council gives notice that it has made a Variation Order under
Sections 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of this Order, which will come into force on 2 January 2018, is to vary the existing North Tyneside (Off Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2017 to introduce a 3 hour waiting limit on parking within the car park at Waves Leisure Centre, The Links, Whitley Bay. The restriction will apply on all days with exemption for staff and customers with valid permits.
Full details of the proposals, may be examined at the address shown below during office hours. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions contained within them on the grounds that they are not made under the correct sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from 13 December 2017, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
