Attendees must be aged 8 years old or over to participate. Please arrive 10 minutes before your allotted time to put on your equipment)
Coached Sessions - Juniors
Monday 5.30pm to 7pm (NICAS available)
Monday 7pm - 8.30pm
Thursday 6.30pm to 7.30pm and 7.30- 8.30pm
Saturday 9.30am - 11am
Coached Sessions - Adults
Monday 7pm - 8.30pm
Wednesday between 6pm to 9pm

Open Wall Sessions (must be signed off by the instructors as a competent person who can belay a climber - can supervise up to two climbers)
Adults and Juniors (8+)
Thursday 6pm - 8.30pm
Belay Training (learn to belay a climber over 14 years of age) £22 per session
Contact reception on 0191 643 2025 to book a space (up to 3 spaces per session) bring a person to belay.
Parties for juniors or adults
Saturday 1-2.30pm (up to 12 people) climbing wall instructors will belay the climbers, a fun session.

Climbing Wall Drop in Session
Belaying a climber
You must be able to ‘belay’ a climber. If you have attended the belay training session the instructor will have completed an assessment with you and you will be able to access this session.
If you have not attended a belay training session at the centre you will need to arrange a competency assessment with us, all assessments can be pre-booked by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Juniors 8 to 15 years must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or over who is either a registered climber with Hadrian or has received training to 'belay' by a member of climbing wall staff. 16-17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or over at the point of registration and have previously visited the climbing wall.

Junior Holiday activity sessions
Climbing wall sessions run during the school holidays. The sessions are run by qualified instructors. All equipment is supplied and participants are asked to wear a top covering the elbows and trousers covering the knees. Please see the holiday activity brochure for the days and times they are available (it changes every school holiday) call reception on 0191 643 2025 for details.
Adult training courses
