Easy ways to keep active

The benefits of keeping active

It might be difficult right now to be physically active in the ways that you usually like but it’s important to stay active.  Physical activity can help to break up your day and offer a quick mood boost!  There are lots of free resources that can help you stay active during this challenging time.

Remember if you want to get active outdoors you can leave the house for one form of exercise per day (e.g. walk, cycle or run) unless you or a member of your household are self-isolating. Follow the government guidance: always stay 2 meters (6ft) away from other people and wash your hands as soon as you get home.

This page outlines some of the easy ways you can stay active during COVID-19 situation but for more ideas visit Active North Tyneside.
