Anyone looking to find a job in social care is encouraged to come along to the first North Tyneside Social Care Jobs Fair.
The event will showcase around a hundred jobs in the social care sector and takes place on Thursday 8 August between 10am and 2pm at Wallsend Customer First Centre.
Job seekers can expect a friendly and welcoming event, with the chance to meet many employers face-to-face and learn more about the wide range of vacancies available.
There will be vacancies in residential care, supported living, home care and day services. There are also opportunities to become a Shared Lives Carer or Personal Assistant. Full and part-time positions, as well as apprenticeships are available.
The event is being organised by North Tyneside Council in partnership with Skills for Care and Job Centre Plus.
Organisations who deliver care services in North Tyneside will be attending including UBU, Percy Hedley Foundation, Melrose House, New Prospects Association, Akari Care, Age UK and Be Caring.
