Waves swimming pool

Introduction and pool programme

Waves has a popular wave machine and aquatic play area featuring our pirate ship, The Rock Hopper. Aboard the ship there are mini slides and water squirting geysers. There is also a tipping water treasure chest and water squirting animals in the play area.

For children and adults alike, there are three high octane slides in the main pool area – compete against your friends to see who can get down the quickest!

Waves also offers an extensive range of pool classes and activities including aqua classes, lane line swimming, adult and junior group swimming lessons, one to one lessons and pool parties.
The changing area includes single, double, family and group changing cubicles, individual buggy parking spaces, baby changing facilities and a vanity area. There are also accessible ‘Changing Places’ changing rooms available for customers who have a disability.

For further details about what’s on in the pool please see our programme or contact (0191) 643 2600.

Please note, pool availability may be subject to change due to swimming gala's, staff training and during school holidays. Notices are available on site or contact reception for more information.
