Introduction and pool programme

Hadrian Leisure Centre offers an extensive range of pool classes and activities including, inflatable fun, toys and floats sessions, aqua classes, lane line swimming, adult and junior group swimming lessons, one to one swimming lessons, disability swimming sessions and pool parties.

The changing area includes single and family changing cubicles, baby changing facilities and a vanity area with hairdryers. There are also accessible ‘Changing Places’ changing rooms available for disabled customers.

Please note, pool availability may be subject to change due to swimming gala's, staff training and during school holidays. Notices are available on site or contact reception for more information.

Monday to Thursday 7.15am-9.30pm (Last public swim admission is 8.45pm)
Friday 7.15am-7pm (Last public swim admission is 6.15pm)
Saturday and Sunday 8.15am-4pm (Last public swim admission is 3.15pm)

Child admission policy

Please remember:

  • children aged between 0 and 3 years old must be accompanied in the water on a one child to one adult basis
  • children aged between 4 and 7 years old must be accompanied in the water on a two children to one adult basis
  • children aged 8 years or over may attend the pool without adult supervision
  • an adult is defined as anyone 16 years or older who is responsible and competent to ensure the safety and wellbeing of any child in their care

Disability swimming

There is a Disability swim session every Saturday 5-6pm. The main pool and learner pool is available.

There are two different pool hoists - please call to discuss your requirements. Participants must come with a carer if support is needed. ‘Changing Places’ and family accessible changing rooms available.

All ages welcome (pool admission applies). Two carers per person can attend free of charge.
