Requesting Books
You can go on the Online Library Catalogue – https://capitadiscovery.co.uk/northtyneside - and request specific books, you will need your library membership number and PIN. You can then select which of the participating sites you would like to collect you books from. When our staff have your books they will give you a ring to let you know when you can come and collect them.

You can give your preferred participating library a ring and ask for a selection of books, this could be a particular genre, books by authors that you enjoy or books on a non-fiction subject. Library staff will select books for you and then give you a ring to arrange a collection time. The telephone numbers are above.

You can also use the telephone option to request particular books if that is easier for you than using the online catalogue.

Collecting your books
When we call you will be given options for collection, the day and am/pm.
When you arrive at the library your books will be issued and waiting for you to collect at or near the entrance.
All of the buildings have safe distancing measures in place and you will need to wear a face covering.
