A187 Tyne View Terrace Footpath/Cycleway Improvements

Overview

Improvements to the A187 Tyne View Terrace in East Howdon, linking to the Tyne Pedestrian and Cycle Tunnels, are now finished.

Delivered by Capita’s construction team for North Tyneside Council, the scheme focused on the introduction of a shared footpath and cycleway on the A187 Tyne View Terrace.

Drainage improvements were also carried out between the Tyne Pedestrian and Cycle Tunnel and Northumberland Dock Road.
