About RingGo
RingGo is a quick, easy way to pay to park by phone, which means there’s no need to save up change or visit a machine. Using RingGo helps from an environmental point of view, too, as there’s no need to put a pay and display ticket in your windscreen.
How does RingGo work?
The simplest way to use RingGo is via the RingGo smartphone app.
You can download this by going to your phone’s app store and searching for RingGo. Once you’ve downloaded the app, register a few details and when you want to park, use the app to pay.
To do this, you need to:
- confirm the vehicle you’re using
- let the service know where you are parked by entering the location number shown on the local sign
- tell RingGo how long you want to stay and confirm your payment details
A further benefit of RingGo is that if your parking is running out, you can extend your time wherever you are. Select your current session from within the app and you will be asked how long you want to extend for. Choose a time, confirm, and the new, extended time will apply.
Parking enforcement officers know you’re parked with RingGo by checking the vehicle registration on their devices, so there’s no need to display anything in your windscreen.
