You can request a replacement rubbish, garden waste, recycling bin or recycling caddy:
- a replacement bin costs £20
- a replacement caddy for recycling costs £5
Please call 0345 2000 103, select option 1 and pay by credit or debit card.
You will not be charged if you have just moved into the property although you must request the container within 3 months of moving in.
The bin is provided for your use by the Council and it is your responsibility to ensure that it is safe.
We aim to deliver your new or replacement bin as promptly as possible. Please note that stock issues have returned to normal since the pandemic, though there may still be some occasional delays. We appreciate your understanding as we work to fulfil all orders efficiently.
You will have to make your own arrangements for that waste. Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, we have a legal obligation to collect household waste but only from a container that we specify.
