Applying to start Reception class, Y5, Y7, or Y9 at Whitley Bay schools in September 2025 on a Paper Application Form
The school admissions process for September 2025 will open on the 9th September 2024.
If your child will be starting in Reception class, Y5 of a Middle School, Y7 of a High School or Y9 in a Whitley Bay High school in September 2025 you must apply for a school place.
We strongly advise that you apply online. If you are unable to, and want to apply on a paper form, the forms are available below to print out.
If you are applying for a Reception place the closing date is the 13th January 2025, any application received after this date will be classed as 'late'.
If you are applying for a Y5 Middle School place or a Y7 High School place or a Y9 Monkseaton High or Whitley Bay High School place the closing date is the 31st October 2024, any application received after this will be classed as 'late'.
If possible, please return the application form to us by email. The email address is on the form. If you post the form, you must get proof of postage in case your form goes missing in the post.
