The North Tyneside Carers Charter is a document showing a set of principles agreed by carers in North Tyneside to promote better recognition and support for them.

10 Dignity Do's

Dignity in Care ran numerous focus groups around the country to find out what 'Dignity in Care' meant to people. These events resulted in the development of the 10 Dignity Do's. These pointers describe values and actions reflective of high quality services that respect people's dignity.

Signpost Information Guidance Network (SIGN)

SIGN North Tyneside is a network of providers of free, independent and confidential information working to put people in need of practical or emotional help and guidance in touch with those local organisations best able to provide it.

Registration in the SIGN Directory

The SIGN Directory is an online directory of community services and events for the residents of North Tyneside. It is designed for people to search for and find services and activities that may support them in their lives. It allows people to make informed choices in an accessible, user-friendly manner.
