- competitive weekly fees, paid 52 weeks a year
- an allowance to cover the foster child’s living expenses
- 24-hour support from North Tyneside Council’s fostering service
- full and ongoing training throughout their career
- training tailored to the needs of the foster child
- support from local fostering groups
- support for their children from the Children Who Foster group
- two weeks’ paid holiday a year
