Tattooists, piercing and electrolysis

To carry out the activity of tattooing (Semi permanent makeup, microblading) , body piercing, electrolysis or acupuncture in North Tyneside there is a requirement to register the person and the premise.

To Assess Compliance the following Byelaws are used for the appropriate activity 

• Premise Registration fee  - £152.
• Person Registration fee - £101.

You must provide specific information including details of your premises and any previous convictions for practicing without registration in this field. A fee will be charged.
