Entertainment will be provided by local bands and singers including Linskill Community Choir, Whitley Women Community Choir, Killingworth Community Choir and Bay Uke.
At 3.55pm the Tribute to the Millions statement will be read by the Young Mayor, Poppy Arnold, followed by the bugler who will play the Last Post. At 4pm the World War One Beacon of Light will be lit. The event will conclude at 5pm.
