Charity is beginning ‘At Home’ for three North Tyneside organisations set to benefit from a very special event hosted by North Tyneside Council later this month (Monday 18th April).
Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade, Learning Disabilities North East and the veterans’ charity Forward Assist have been selected as the official charities of the Council Chairman.
An ‘At Home’ afternoon will be held at 3pm on Monday 18 April, at the council headquarters. Guests will enjoy entertainment by the Northern Notes choir and local schoolchildren. There will also be light refreshments and a raffle as well as the opportunity to meet representatives of the charities.
