Read Regional author to visit North Tyneside library

As part of this year’s Read Regional campaign, literary fans are invited to an event with renowned author Ian Clayton.

Ian will be discussing his memoir Song for my Father, which discusses his lifelong search for a father figure.

Looking forward to the event, Ian said: “I'm looking forward to Read Regional because it is word of mouth, which I believe is still the best way for writers to communicate with readers.

“Libraries played the most important part in my growing up and learning.”

Ian will discuss his life and works on Thursday, 14 April at 7pm at Wallsend Customer First Centre.

Tickets for the event are £3 and for further information or to book your place contact (0191) 643 5270 or any North Tyneside Library.
