Aspiring detectives can learn from a professional as a former forensic artist holds a unique event.
Ian Gillard, a specialist in fingerprints, will be hosting an event at Whitley Bay Customer First Centre where he will demonstrate the differences in fingerprints, as well as their use in solving and preventing crime.
There will be a variety of practical demonstrations, including looking at your own fingerprints and what makes each individual set of prints different.
Taking place on Tuesday, June 28 from 6.30pm, tickets cost £3.50 and booking is essential. Refreshments are included in the price of admission.
