There are bags of fun to be had in North Tyneside as a jam-packed summer festival programme continues.
This weekend, at Whitley Bay’s Spanish City Plaza, there will be fantastic street entertainment with some of the world’s best street performers and the region’s best buskers singing popular crowd-pleasers.
Across the two days, people can come along and see names such as Chris Cross the Escapologist, Jack Flash, of New Zealand, and Mr Vita, all the way from Spain.
Hosted by international variety artist Todd Various, visitors can grab some fish and chips and ice cream as they watch fantastic shows every hour between 12pm and 3pm.
Also, back for a third year, the Spanish City Triathlon will be putting competitors through their paces with a tough coastal course on Sunday, August 21 at The Links, in Whitley Bay.
