With the fifth annual show coming to Whitley Bay this weekend, here’s everything you need to know.
Organised by North Tyneside Council, and supported by Eastcoast Taxis and Whitley Bay Chamber of Trade, the event takes place this weekend.
Cars from around the world will be on show, featuring mid-1930’s classics to more recent models, and many local classic car clubs will be there.

On The Links, Whitley Bay, in front of the revitalised Dome
What time does it start and finish?
10am to 3pm
How much does it cost?
The event is free
Can you just turn up?
Yes, no tickets are required
Can I exhibit my classic car?
Anyone still wishing to exhibit can turn up on the day, they need to be there before 9am
How many cars will be there?
Over 650 cars have been registered
What sort of cars will be on show?
Cars from around the world will be on show for visitors and many local classic car clubs will be present, including NECPWA, MG Northumbria, Jaguar Enthusiasts and Tyneside American.
Owners will all be on hand to chat about the history of their cars to visitors and fellow enthusiasts.
Is it child-friendly?
Yes, it is.
Will there be anything else to see?
There will be live jazz music and small fairground rides for children
Will there be any refreshments available?
A range of street food and refreshments will be available to purchase.
Are you expecting the event to be busy?
Yes, previous shows have seen thousands of people visit The Links. With the Dome now open, even more people are expected.
Are there any toilet facilities?
There are newly-refurbished toilets and baby changing facilities nearby, at Watts Slope.
Is there parking nearby?
