Thousands of North Tyneside residents are being asked to help shape council services and give their views on the local area.
Starting from October 11, over 4,000 people living across the borough will receive a residents’ survey questionnaire, offering them the opportunity to evaluate services provided by North Tyneside Council and suggest improvements for the local area.
North Tyneside Elected Mayor, Norma Redfearn CBE said: “Residents are at the very heart of decision making and with their feedback and views, we continue to make improvements to the local area and services we deliver.
“The survey is an important way of understanding how residents think we’re doing and any improvements that could be made.
“This is a council that prides itself on listening to our communities and I’d really encourage those who receive the questionnaire to please complete it.”
Households selected to take part in the survey are chosen at random and all feedback remains anonymous and confidential.
Residents have until November 5 to complete and return their questionnaire in the pre-paid envelope provided.
The survey is being managed on behalf of the council by independent research company Ipsos Mori.
