Residents and visitors will have the opportunity to discover new places and explore some of North Tyneside's most interesting venues later this month.
Heritage Open Days is an annual celebration of England's fantastic history and culture and returns between 9 – 18 September.
The programme allows visitors free access to local landmarks that are either not usually open to the public or would normally charge an entrance fee.
Around 20 venues across the borough will open their doors to the public and offer a range of activities and new experiences.
The events aim to bring people together to celebrate their local heritage, community and history.
The full details and listings for participating North Tyneside venues can be found here.
