The much-anticipated North Tyneside Restaurant Week is back for its second year, running from October 7 to October 13.
More than 25 restaurants across the borough have already signed up to participate, with the opportunity for more to join the listing this month.
Restaurant Week is a celebration of the diverse and vibrant culinary scene in North Tyneside. Whether guests are looking to try new flavours, enjoy special deals, or revisit their favourite dining spots, the event offers something for everyone.
North Tyneside’s Elected Mayor, Dame Norma Redfearn DBE, said: “We’re so excited to be bringing back Restaurant Week for the second year in North Tyneside.
“This is a great opportunity for residents and visitors alike to enjoy our vibrant food scene while supporting local businesses.
“I encourage everyone to take advantage of the fantastic offers available.”
Diners can look forward to unique dishes and great value offers, making it the perfect time to explore what local restaurants have to offer.
Following the success of last year’s event, this year’s Restaurant Week aims to bring even more excitement to the local food scene. With a wide variety of participating venues and offers that can’t be missed, food enthusiasts are in for a treat.
First to sign up with its Geordie-influenced British menu, was Hinnies in Whitley Bay. Owner Sam Hook said:
“We’re delighted that North Tyneside Restaurant Week is returning for another year.
“It’s a great way to support local businesses and for diners to enjoy a special offer.
“The area has so many great places for dining and Restaurant Week gives venues the opportunity to reach a wider market and showcase what they have to offer.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming customers at Hinnies".
