Entry is now open for the popular North Tyneside 10K Road Race.
The event will take place on Sunday 21 September 2025, later in the year to allow for the completion of the seafront cycleway.
The race sets off from the Parks Sports Centre in North Shields, passing by the Fish Quay, Tynemouth Priory and Castle and a long stretch of coastline, before finishing at St Mary’s Lighthouse in Whitley Bay.
Entry is £21 (£20 for affiliated club runners) and includes a goodie bag and branded race t-shirt.
The event is organised by North Tyneside Council and supported by Start Fitness.
