North Tyneside’s residents are invited to welcome the festive season as a local community group presents their very own Christmas show.

Members of the Adults with Learning Disabilities and Difficulties, which is part of the Adult Learning Alliance, will be hosting their ‘Great British Comedy Christmas Extravaganza’ on Thursday, December 10.

Taking place at Norham Community Wing, Alnwick Avenue, North Shields NE29 7BU, the show will feature a Christmas play written and performed by the group at 5.45pm.

There will be a Christmas shop available beforehand from 4.45pm where attendees can purchase items that the learners have made, including home made cakes and Christmas decorations.

Also, a tombola and raffle will be available at £1 a strip, with the top prize as a £50 Intu voucher.

Tickets cost £3 and can be purchased from the venue’s reception, or alternatively by emailing Bridgett.thornton@northtyneside.gov.uk.

The North Tyneside Adult Learning Alliance is a council-run scheme that looks to provide the highest quality teaching available to adults in the borough.
