‘Think big’ with programme's second term

Adult learning

Learning new skills in North Tyneside has never been easier, with a flurry of courses and opportunities for adults to take part in.

North Tyneside Council’s Adult Learning Alliance has once again teamed up with TyneMet College to offer their joint prospectus for adult learning and skill courses for 2015-16.

And after the success term one saw in 2015, term two is set to offer a similar range of programmes across the borough’s 40 course venues.

This year’s course guide is packed full of opportunities for participants to improve skills, enhance career prospects or simply try out something new.

Residents can sign up to study everything from joinery to jewellery-making, and from first aid to French. There is also a wide range of English, maths and IT courses available.

The latest prospectus contains everything residents need to know about up-and-coming open days across the borough, and how to enrol on a programme of study.

Information about costs and how to pay will also be included; many readers will find that they will be able to study for free, or at a reduced price. All of the courses listed have been designed to offer great value for money.
