North Tyneside's Elected Mayor is holding a special family fun day where residents and their families will be able to come along and talk about what’s important to them.
Mayor Norma Redfearn will play host to residents and their children as part of a family fun day incorporating an Elected Mayor Listens Event.
On the day, there will be an array of activities for youngsters of all ages to take part in; from arts and crafts and face painting, to Giant Connect 4, a visit from the balloon professor and a discovery zoo.
Officers and Partners from a range of Council Services including: Participation, Advocacy and Engagement, Regeneration, Planning, Highways, Health, Education, Care and Safeguarding, Public Health, Sport and Active North Tyneside, Contours and Dementia “Friends” awareness will be in attendance, as well as colleagues from the Police, Fire service and Nexus.
As part of the event, the Elected Mayor Listens Event for Valley ward will take place , where Mayor Redfearn , Cabinet members and Valley Ward Councillors will be available to answer any questions from residents.
The event will be held at North Tyneside Council's Quadrant East HQ, from 12 noon until 2pm on Saturday, March 12.
Everyone who attends the event will have the opportunity to be entered into a free prize draw which will be drawn later on in the year.
