The A1058 road re-surfacing programme at Billy Mill will continue this week and is expected to be finished by Friday 24 February.
While the project is ahead of the original completion date in May 2017, there were problems with traffic management over the weekend that meant not all of the planned work was completed.
Whilst the majority of the work has been done, it means the A1058 Coast Road westbound will be closed overnight on Monday 20 February between 8pm and 6am and the A1058 eastbound will be closed overnight on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 21 / 22 / 23 February, again between 8pm and 6am on each occasion.
Fully signposted diversions for all traffic will be in place throughout and the previously-advised alterations to Arriva bus services 53, 57A, 306 and 308 will continue on each evening.
Access for vehicles from Lynn Road to Billy Mill will remain prohibited (except for buses) until the revised programme is completed.
We are sorry for the extended work but continue to work to complete the project ahead of schedule and, particularly, to re-open Lynn Road as soon as possible.
