Free Family Health walk from the Rising Sun Country Park plus a free swim voucher

A FREE Family Health Walk every Sunday 10.30-11.30am from the Rising Sun Country Park on Sunday 29th October only.

A free swim voucher will be issued on completion of the walk which you can be redeemed at Hadrian Leisure centre.

These sessions are ideal for parents/carers to exercise with their children. A gentle paced way to get active with the family. The sessions provide an ideal opportunity to socialise and meet new friends during and after the session.

Start at the Rising Sun Country Park meet the staff to regsiter at10.15am, they will take you on a circular walk including the park (free time to play in the park) and back to the start for 11.30am.  There is a cafe which you can purchase refreshments from or bring your own.

Remember to:

• bring a drink and a snack for you and your family.
• wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the season, umbrella or rain coat, buggy rain covers in case the weather changes
• supervise your child - no more than two under 6 year old children to one adult (children are your responsibility during the session and a member of staff will be available on hand for first aid and to assist in an emergency)
• arrive at 10.15am (15 minutes before the start of the walk for the leader to meet you and take the register - please inform the leader if you have any medical conditions, must be fit enough for an hours walk, you must be fit enough to complete an hours walk.)
