North Tyneside Council Cycling Strategy Consultation

Consultation details

The council has invited residents to have their say on the draft North Tyneside Cycling Strategy. The draft strategy sets out how the council will continue to help more people in the borough cycle more easily and often. It is aimed at getting more people to take part in everyday cycling, which is good for people’s health and the environment, and, wherever possible, improving the infrastructure of the borough to support the increasing popularity of cycling. The authority would like to thank everyone who shared their views as part of this engagement exercise.

Residents have been given the opportunity to share their views on the draft strategy. The draft strategy and questionnaire are available on the council’s website, and in hard copy at libraries and Customer First Centres, for people to read and give feedback. In addition people are able to submit their views by email to cycling@northtyneside.gov.uk or by letter to the council’s Environment, Housing and Leisure service area. The engagement documents are available on the council’s website and in hard copy at libraries and Customer First Centres.
