We are remembering differently this year. The usual Armisitce Day Remembrance service at Killingworth is not taking place like it normally would today.
We have recorded a service with a welcome message from Cllr Wendy Lott, Chairman of the Council, prayers from Father Martin from St Bartholomew's at Benton, wreath laying, hymns and national anthem sung by Whitley Lodge First School, and The Exhortation and The Kohima Epitaph from our local Royal British Legion branches.
