Residents in North Tyneside are being asked to share their views on the local area in a survey that will help shape Council services.
The residents’ survey, which was distributed to over 4,000 people living in households across the borough from the 15 November, offers residents the opportunity to voice their opinion on services provided by North Tyneside Council and make suggestions as to how these could be improved for the benefit of those living in the local area.
Elected Mayor of North Tyneside, Norma Redfearn CBE said: “The decisions we make as a Council are with our residents at the forefront, their thoughts and views are invaluable to the culture of continuous improvement that we strive to achieve.
“The survey is a hugely important part of this as it helps us to understand how our residents think we are doing and their feedback allows us to act upon their wishes and make improvements to the services we deliver.
“This Council endeavours to listen to its communities and I’d ask all those who receive the survey to please complete it so we can continue to do this.”
Households selected to take part in the survey were randomly chosen and all feedback and responses are confidential and anonymous.
Residents have until the 28 November to complete and return their questionnaire in a pre-paid envelope.
The residents’ survey is managed by independent research company Ipsos Mori on behalf of North Tyneside Council.
