Hundreds of people are getting ready to show off their creativity and building skills at this year’s Whitley Bay Sandcastle Competition.
The event takes place in front of the Rendezvous Café at Whitley Bay, at 10am on Sunday 6 August, and promises to be a day of laughter, creativity, and friendly competition.
Event Highlights:
- 10am-12pm: Registration opens
- 10am: Shuggy boats
- 11:30am-1:30 pm: Children's character appearances and face-painting
- 12pm-1pm: Bay Uke, singers and musicians
- 1pm: Judging time - impress the panel with your sandcastle prowess and win fantastic prizes!
