TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Orders prohibits all through traffic on the following as and when signage indicates:

Wallsend

On Carville Gardens Footpath. An alternate route is available via Carville Gardens Lane At Side And Rear Of 4-36. The Order is required to is required to facilitate gas main replacements and will come into force on 12 February 2024 lasting until the 22 March 2024. 

On Union Streets Footpath An alternate route is available via Union Street Lane At Side And Rear Of 1-22. The proposed temporary Order is required to facilitate gas replacement works and the Order will come into force on 19 February 2024 lasting until the 22 March 2024.

On Wilberforce Street Footpath. An alternate route is available via Union Street Lane At Side And Rear Of 1-22. The proposed temporary Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacements and the Order will come into force on 26 February 2024 lasting until the 22 March 2024.

Whitley Bay

On Windsor Terrace from outside number 12 to number 15. An alternate route is available via Windsor Crescent Lane At Rear Of 18-37. The Order is required to uncover a buried manhole cover and frame and will come into force on 19 February 2024 lasting until the 20 February 2024.
