(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on The Broadway from the junction with Mast Lane to the junction with Burnside Road.

An alternate route is available via Mast Lane, Marden Avenue, Beverley Terrace, John Street, Dove Row, Whitley Road, Marden Road, Marden Road South. A secondary alternate route is available via Farringdon Road, Ennerdale Road, Hartington Road, The Broadway.

The proposed temporary Order is required for carriageway resurfacing.

The Order will come into force on 17th March 2024 for a period not exceeding 10 days.
