(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on Grand Parade Southbound, from the junction with Beach Road to the junction with Percy Park.

An alternate route is available via Beach Road, The Broadway, Percy Park

The proposed temporary Order is required to facilitate the installation of a new cycle route.

The Order will come into force on 1 May 2024 lasting until 30 June 2024.
