Variation Orders 2024
North Tyneside Council gives notice that it proposes to make variation orders under Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the orders, if made, will be to vary the following orders as detailed below:
the North Tyneside (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading) (Consolidation) Order 2022, so that:
no waiting at any time restrictions be introduced on sections of the following roads:
Clousden Grange, Killingworth
Both sides, from its junction with Killingworth Road to a point 11 metres north west of that junction.
Killingworth Road, Killingworth
North west side, from a point 16 metres north of its junction with Great Lime Road to a point 58 metres north east of its junction with Clousden Grange.
Un-named road to the rear of Marine Avenue (North Side), Whitley Bay
North side, from its junction with Ilfracombe Gardens to a point 34 metres east of that junction.
South side, from its junction with Ilfracombe Gardens to its junction with Clovelly Gardens.
Church Way, Earsdon
Both sides from its junction with Front Street to a point 4 metres north of that junction.
Front Street, Earsdon
North side, from a point 10 metres west of its junction with Church Way to a point 8 metres east of that junction.
The following no waiting at any time restrictions to be revoked from un-named road to the rear of Marine Avenue (north side), Whitley Bay:
Item 702 (viii) - North side, from a point 21 metres west of Bideford Gardens to a point 18 metres east of its junction with Illfracombe Gardens;
Item 702 (ix) - North side, from a point 7 metres east of its junction with Illfracombe Gardens to that junction;
Item 702 (x) - North-west side, from a point 13 metres north-east of its junction with Ilfracombe Gardens to that junction.
the North Tyneside (On Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2022 so that:
Permit Holder Parking Places – Marked Bays to be revoked:
Item 176 Un-named road at the rear of Marine Avenue, Whitley Bay – north west side, from a point 13 metres north east of its junction with Ilfracombe Gardens to a point 18 metres north east of that junction.
