TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made Orders under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Orders will be to prohibit all through traffic on Station Roads Level Crossing, as and when signage indicates on the below dates:

An alternate route is available via Killingworth Drive, Great Lime Road, Benton Lane, Benton Lane Roundabout to A1056 Roundabout, Killingworth Way, Station Road.

The temporary Order is required to access the level crossing in order to complete the following: Prep / Core / FUW works.

The Order will come into force on the below dates, and working hours will be from 22:00 - 05:50.

25 August lasting until 26 September

1 September lasting until 2 September

8 September lasting until 9 September

13 September lasting until 16 September

20 September lasting until 21 September

22 September lasting until 23 September

12 October lasting until 13 October

13 October lasting until 14 October

27 October lasting until 28 October.
