TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order prohibits all through traffic on Monkseaton Drive from the roundabout with Earsdon Road to the junction with Woodburn Drive.

Works to be completed in sections along this route which are as follows:

from the roundabout with Earsdon Road to the roundabout with Red House Drive. An alternative route is available via Earsdon Road, Rosemount Way, Newsteads Drive and in reverse order.
from the roundabout with Red House Drive to the roundabout with Beaumont Drive. An alternative route is available via Red House Drive, Beaumont Drive and in reverse order.
from the roundabout with Beaumont Drive to the junction with Woodburn Drive, these works will be completed under temporary traffic signals/stop go boards.

Alternative routes will be indicated by on site signage.

The proposed temporary Order is required for carriageway patching repairs and surface dressing and will come into force on 12 August 2024 lasting until 24 September 2024.
