BEACH ROAD, NORTH SHIELDS

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order prohibits all through traffic on Beach Road from adjacent to Tesco Garage to the roundabout sited at Preston Road.

An alternate route is available via Preston Road, Rake Lane, Billy Mill Lane, Lynn Road and in reverse order.

Alternative routes will also be indicated by on site signage.

The temporary Order is required to resurface the carriageway and will come into force on 12 August 2024 lasting until 24 September 2024.
