(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on Northumbrian Way from the junction with Planet Place to a point approx. 80m south from the junction with Station Road. 

An alternate route is available via Station Road, Killingworth Way, A189, Benton Lane, Great Lime Road, Southgate. 

The proposed temporary Order is required for carriageway resurfacing.

The Order will come into force on 5th September 2024 for a period not exceeding 10 days. Works to completed during nighttime hours.
