TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order prohibits all through traffic on Russell Street from the junction with Nile Street to the junction with Bedford Street.

The order is required to provide a temporary loading bay in connection with North Shields Phase 2 construction works to assist with deliveries during the Bedford Street closure.

The Order will come into force on 9 September 2024 lasting until 29 August 2025.
