(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic travelling southbound on Grand Parade to Percy Gardens. South bound lane closure with northbound temporary one way system in place at all times.

An alternate route will be displayed via on site signage.

The proposed temporary Order is required to install new signage, install new road markings, and facilitate a new splitter island and build out at Grand Parade/Percy Park junction.

The Order will come into force on 30 September 2024 for a period not exceeding six weeks.
