(Traffic Movements) (Consolidation) Order 2022
Variation Order 2024
North Tyneside Council gives notice that it has made variation orders under Sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, which will come into force on 28 October 2024 will be to vary the North Tyneside (Traffic Movements) (Consolidation) Order 2022, Variation Order No.4 2022 so that:
the Prohibition of Motor Vehicles (School Streets) on the following lengths of road be revoked on Mondays to Fridays between 8.30am & 9.00am and 3.00pm & 3.45pm on:
Denbigh Avenue, Wallsend, from a point 21 metres south of its junction with Monmouth Gardens to its junction with Grosvenor Gardens; and
b) Radnor Gardens, Wallsend, from its junction with Denbigh Avenue to its junction with Caroline Gardens.
Further details of the orders may be examined in the documents available on the Council’s website www.northtyneside.gov.uk (Statutory Notices). If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions contained within them on the grounds that they are not made under the correct sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from 16 October 2024, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
