TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic:
Backworth
on Church Road from after the junction with Melrose Avenue to a point adjacent with the path that leads to Holywest Kennels.
An alternate route is available via Church Road, Station Road, Rotary Road, Earsdon Road, Front Street, Earsdon To Backworth Link Road
The proposed temporary Order is required to carry out works in relation to the northern line project and will come into force on 25 November 2024 for a period not exceeding 7 days.

Forest Hall
on Cresswell Avenue outside of number 39.
There is no alternative route however access to be given to residents.
The proposed temporary Order is required to complete a service replacement and will come into force on 18 November 2024 for a period not exceeding 12 days.

Killingworth
on Station Roads Level Crossing.
An alternate route is available via Station Road, Northumbrian Way, Southgate, Great Lime Road, Killingworth Drive.
The proposed temporary Order is required for drainage jetting works and will come into force on 9 November 2024 lasting until 10 November 2024. Working hours will be from 22:45 to 08:45.
on Station Roads Level Crossing.
An alternate route is available via Station Road, Northumbrian Way, Southgate, Great Lime Road, Killingworth Drive.
The proposed temporary Order is required for drainage jetting works and
will come into force on 23 November 2024 lasting until 24 November 2024. Working hours will be from 22:45 to 08:45.

The proposed temporary Order is required for drainage jetting works and will come into force on 30 November 2024 lasting until 1 December 2024. Working hours will be from 22:45 - 08:45.

The proposed temporary Order is required for a sewer cleanse and CCTV survey and will come into force on 2 November 2024 for a period not exceeding 2 days. (Works are expected to be completed in 1).

The proposed temporary Order is required to allow flow sensor maintenance works to be executed within the carriageway and will come into force on 12 November 2024 for a period not exceeding 2 days.
