 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on Eastfield Avenue, Whitley Bay.  Works to be carried out in two halves to allow residential access. 

An alternate route is available via Earsdon Road, Brantwood Avenue, Pykerley Road. 

The proposed temporary Order is required for carriageway resurfacing and

will come into force on 3 December 2024 for a period not exceeding 5 days.
