(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on Earsdon Road’s roundabout with Monkseaton Drive.

An alternate route is available via Monkseaton Drive, Newsteads Drive, Rosemount Way, Earsdon Road, Cauldwell Lane, Seatonville Road, Rake Lane, New York Road, Park Lane.  Access to be maintained for residents of South Wellfield and West Park from the westbound side of Earsdon Road. 

The proposed temporary Order is required for carriageway resurfacing.

The Order will come into force on 28 November 2024 lasting till 6 December 2024. Works to be completed during nightshift hours.
