HOLYSTONE, nORTH SHIELDS AND WHITLEY BAY, North Tyneside

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

 

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic:

 

Holystone

on Holystone Drive from the junction with Devonshire Drive to the junction with Whitley Road.

An alternate route is available via Devonshire Drive, St Cuthberts Road, Whitley Road.

The proposed temporary Order is required for carriageway resurfacing and will come into force on 9 December 2024 for a period not exceeding 4 days.

 

North Shields

on Wark Avenue.

Alternate routes are available via various roads. On site signage will be available to show these.

The proposed temporary Order is required for carriageway resurfacing and will come into force on 9 December 2024 for a period not exceeding 5 days. 

 

Whitley Bay

on Woodburn Drive from the junction with Claremont Road to the entrance to Deneside Court.

An alternate route is available via Claremont Road, Monkseaton Drive, Woodburn Drive.

The proposed temporary Order is required for carriageway resurfacing and

will come into force on 09th December 2024 for a period not exceeding 3 days (works expected to only take 1 day).
