TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

North Tyneside Council gives notice that it intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all through traffic on Laurel Street from the junction with Station Road to the junction with Station Road Lane.

An alternate route is available via Station Road, High Street East, Park Road, Laurel Street.

The proposed temporary Order is required to demolish and rebuild a manhole box within the carriageway.

The Order will come into force on 27 January 2025 for a period not exceeding 10 days.
